<p>AEW Fyter Fest 2025 aired as a special four-hour live event on June 4, combining Dynamite and Collision from Denver’s Mission Ballroom. The show featured major title defenses, debuts, and storyline developments.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Will Ospreay Promo</h2>



<p>Will Ospreay opened the show by addressing his uneasy alliance with Swerve Strickland, acknowledging their tension but urging unity to dethrone Jon Moxley. He blamed Moxley for AEW’s current woes, declaring the promotion &#8220;only sucks&#8221; because Mox holds the title. </p>



<p>Ospreay warned that if Swerve tried to sabotage Hangman Page’s title pursuit, he might have to stop Swerve himself. He then challenged Swerve to a match at next week’s AEW Summer Blockbuster.</p>



<p>CRU&#8217;s Action Andretti and Lio Rush interrupted, mocking Ospreay and claiming he was AEW’s biggest problem. Ospreay welcomed the hostility and ended the segment by promising to settle things with Swerve soon.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Jon Moxley def. Mark Briscoe</h2>



<p>Briscoe started strong, brawling outside and controlling early offense, but interference from Wheeler Yuta shifted momentum. Yuta absorbed a baseball slide, distracted the referee, and attacked Briscoe at ringside, giving Moxley the upper hand.</p>



<p>Briscoe bled and rallied after the break, firing up the crowd with a fiery comeback. However, Moxley weathered the storm and locked in a bulldog choke to secure the submission win.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">&#8220;Timeless&#8221; Toni Storm &amp; Mina Shirakawa def. Skye Blue &amp; Julia Hart</h2>



<p>Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa defeated Skye Blue and Julia Hart in a tag match overshadowed by Mercedes Moné’s silent presence at ringside, where she dined and ignored commentary duties. Storm controlled early offense before tagging in Mina, who was isolated until Storm re-entered and shifted momentum.</p>



<p>The duo delivered synchronized German suplexes and hip attacks before Storm locked in the TCM Chicken-wing on Hart for the submission win.</p>

<p><strong>Backstage:</strong> Will Ospreay’s interview was interrupted by MJF, who mocked Ospreay for failing to beat Hangman Page or unite Page and Strickland. Ospreay fired back, saying MJF feared Page winning because he couldn’t beat him either. As Ospreay walked off, MJF taunted him about his son, prompting Ospreay to lunge, but the Hurt Syndicate intervened. MVP told Ospreay they had business elsewhere and wished him luck.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">The Hurt Syndicate Promo</h2>



<p>MVP introduced The Hurt Syndicate before proclaiming AEW hosts the best, and no team could beat Lashley and Benjamin for the tag titles. He then introduced MJF, who was heavily booed. MJF declared his intent to reclaim the World Championship, targeting Mistico in Mexico, dismissing him as a &#8220;big fish in a small, smelly pond.&#8221; </p>



<p>&#8220;Speedball&#8221; Mike Bailey, Komander, and Kevin Knight interrupted, challenging The Hurt Syndicate. MVP declined an immediate match, telling them to earn their shot. As they left, LFI’s music played, and both groups crossed paths.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">“Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight &amp; Komander def. La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH, The Beast Mortos &amp; Dralistico)</h2>



<p>The action spilled outside early, with RUSH and Mortos punishing their opponents. Knight nearly scored a pin after a double-team, but LFI regained control, isolating Bailey and launching him onto his partners before a commercial break. </p>



<p>The match resumed with Bailey’s team hitting a synchronized triple dive. Komander and Bailey each scored near-falls, and Knight sealed the win with his UFO finisher. </p>



<p>Post-match, MVP granted the trio a bout against The Hurt Syndicate next week, but an attempted sneak attack backfired as Bailey’s team sent the Syndicate retreating after another triple dive.</p>

<p><strong>Backstage:</strong> Christian Cage discussed Nick Wayne’s tough schedule in Japan’s Best of Super Juniors and reminded him that, as ROH World Television Champion, he had no nights off. When Nick downplayed the challenge, Cage revealed his match would be a four-way. He then told Mother Wayne to find a place to rest, but decided they would watch the match up close.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Powerhouse Hobbs def. Max Caster</h2>



<p>Caster issued an open challenge, prompting Hobbs to emerge from the crowd. The match ended decisively in just 49 seconds, after Hobbs pinned Caster following a modified chokeslam.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">AEW International Championship<br>Kenny Omega (c) def. Brody King, Claudio Castagnoli, &amp; Mascara Dorada</h2>



<p>The chaotic bout saw constant shifts in momentum, with all four men trading big moves inside and outside the ring. King dominated stretches with raw power, Claudio delivered brutal uppercuts and near-falls, and Dorada dazzled with high-flying offense. Omega weathered the storm, surviving a series of close pin attempts. </p>



<p>In the final moments, after Dorada wiped out Claudio with a shooting star press to the floor, Omega hit the One-Winged Angel on Dorada for the win. Post-match, Kazuchika Okada confronted Omega and both men got physical before Okada retreated.</p>

<p><strong>Backstage:</strong> As AEW Dynamite ended, the Fyter Fest edition of <strong>AEW Collision</strong> began with Ricochet addressing the camera. He stated he wouldn’t compete in Denver, calling it a &#8220;crappy town,&#8221; but would scout for talent instead. Ricochet said he was seeking wrestlers willing to give it their all and would be watching the night&#8217;s matches closely.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Will Ospreay def. Lio Rush</h2>



<p>After an early exchange in the opening match of Collision: Fyter Fest, Rush stalled outside the ring before gaining control with a dive during a commercial break. Ospreay fought back with powerful strikes and a near-fall, but Rush countered with a cutter and a top-rope frog splash for a close two-count. </p>



<p>Action Andretti’s interference briefly helped Rush, but when Rush tried to use a chain, the referee caught it. Ospreay capitalized, hitting a Styles Clash for the decisive pinfall victory.</p>



<p>Post-match, Andretti and Rush attacked Ospreay, prompting Hangman Page to storm the ring for the save. Page declared he had Ospreay’s back but made it clear he didn’t need help, especially from Swerve Strickland. Vowing to beat Jon Moxley in Texas, Page turned to find Moxley behind him. As <strong>Death Riders</strong> members approached, Ospreay brought chairs. Moxley called his team off, and they retreated, leaving Page and Ospreay standing tall.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">FTR (Dax Harwood &amp; Cash Wheeler) def. CMLL’s Atlantis Jr. &amp; Templario</h2>



<p>Early exchanges saw both teams trading holds and near-falls before the action spilled outside. The luchadors gained momentum with high-flying double teams, but FTR fought back. After near-falls on both sides, Cash made a blind tag and capitalized as Dax pushed Atlantis off the top rope. Cash then pinned Templario to secure the win. </p>



<p>Post-match, Stokely Hathaway declared that FTR dominates no matter the opponent or promotion. Dax closed by calling FTR the greatest tag team of all time before exiting.</p>

<p>Hechicero controlled early exchanges with Bandido, while The Outrunners briefly rallied with flashy offense. The heels dominated during the break, isolating Bandido. A late surge saw Bandido and The Outrunners land near-falls, but Takeshita cleared the ring, setting up a triple-team on Bandido. In the final sequence, after Bandido was sent to the floor, Fletcher dropped Turbo Floyd with a Brainbuster to secure the victory.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Tay Melo Returns</h2>



<p>After footage aired of Harley Cameron’s injury from last week, the show cut backstage where Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne were seen standing over a laid-out Anna Jay. Bayne dragged Jay by her hair toward the stage, preparing to throw her off. Suddenly, Tay Melo made a surprise return, storming out to confront them. Melo chased off Ford and Bayne, saving Jay from further harm.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">ROH World TV Championship<br>Nick Wayne (c) def. Sammy Guevara, AR Fox, &amp; Lee Johnson</h2>



<p>After early exchanges, the match was marked by heavy ringside interference. In the closing moments, Wayne capitalized on the chaos, hitting his finisher to score the pin and successfully retain his title, earning praise from Christian Cage.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Thekla def. Lady Frost</h2>



<p>Thekla made her AEW in-ring debut against Lady Frost, dominating the match from the start. After a brief beatdown, Thekla performed an inverted crab walk before locking in her Toxic Spider Death Trap, choking out Frost for a quick and decisive victory.</p>

<p><strong>Backstage:</strong> Queen Aminata complained that every newcomer to AEW tries to make a name at her expense. Addressing Thekla, she warned that in Africa, they stomp spiders—and next week at AEW Summer Blockbuster, it would be Thekla vs. Queen Aminata. She closed by declaring, “We’ll find out who is going to stomp on who!”</p>

<p><strong>Announcement:</strong> At All In: Texas, Kenny Omega would face Kazuchika Okada in a champion vs. champion &#8220;winner takes all&#8221; showdown. The contract signing for their July 12 match was scheduled to take place next week during the AEW Summer Blockbuster special.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Eight-Man Tag Match<br>Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong) &amp; Daniel Garcia def. Don Callis Family (Lance Archer, Josh Alexander, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero)</h2>



<p>Paragon started strong, but the Callis Family took control as the match headed into a commercial break. In the final stretch, Archer dominated outside the ring until Paragon mounted a comeback. Cole received the hot tag, hit a Panama Sunrise, and finished with the Boom to score the victory. The show closed with Paragon celebrating the hard-fought win.</p>
